Meet Our Team

Gene Benedick, LPC


A St. Mary's Univ. graduate, Mr Benedick has a masters in Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. He has been in practice for over twenty-five years in San Antonio and work with children, teens, individuals and married couples. His experience covers a wide range of population settings. Gene Benedict works with couples and singles, especially in the area of Arrested Emotional Development and Reactive Attachment Disorder. Co-Author of When It's All Her Fault, Gene Benedict is the contributing counselor. Gene is an expert in the area of domestic violence including physical, sexual, mental, and emotional abuse, with over 20 years experience. Gene was trained by Paul Hegstrom, PhD and author of Angry Men and the Women Who Love Them. He was the men's facilitator in San Antonio for Learning to Live, Learning to Love life groups from 1990-1993. Jose F. Hilario, DOP


Dr. Jose F. Hilario, began practicing in San Antonio in January of 2009 after relocating from Laredo, Texas, where he was in solo practice for three years at The Laredo Foot Clinic. He now practices with the Podiatry Group of South Texas at his Blanco and Bitters office serving the North Central area of San Antonio. Dr. Jose Hilario was raised in San Antonio, Texas, graduated from Southwest High School, and attended The University of Texas in San Antonio where he obtained his Bachelors degree in Science. Dr. Hilario taught sciences at Southwest High School while enrolled in graduate studies at The University of Texas at San Antonio where he majored in Neurosciences. He received his podiatric medical degree from Dr. William M Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at North Chicago Medical School. He then completed a three year surgical residency program (PSR-36) at Saint Josephs Hospital in Chicago Illinois

Samuel Moya, DC


Dr. Samuel Z. Moya is a Texas board certified chiropractor. He completed his undergraduate training at The University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He earned his chiropractic degree at Texas Chiropractic College. Following his completion of chiropractic studies, Dr. Moya participated in a rotational program at the Veterans hospital in Temple, TX.
